Hello!
My name is Vivian Do, and I am currently a PhD student in the department of Environmental Health Sciences at the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health. Broadly, my research interests center on the impacts of climate change-related exposures on health. Growing up in a medically underserved community with several gas stations nearby, I am particularly dedicated to using research to promote health equity and environmental justice. Prior to the PhD, I received my MPH in Epidemiology with a concentration in Climate & Health from Columbia University. I was a 2019-2020 Fulbright scholar at the University of Hong Kong, where I conducted research on the role of temperature variability and ozone on population health.

Beyond research, I am a huge fan of my dog (and all dogs) and learning about weather science. My partner believes that the animal best symbolizing me is a wombat.
